Kante Dining Table

The centerpiece of the collection, the Kante Dining Table, is defined by a generously proportioned elliptical top that appears to float effortlessly above a monolithic sculptural base. Carved from warm walnut, the base is composed of three broad flowing volumes that rise seamlessly from the floor, creating a composition that feels simultaneously grounded and weightless.

A discreet shadow gap separates the top from the base, emphasizing the illusion of levitation while preserving the purity of the form. Every edge is softly radiused, allowing light to glide across the surface and reveal the richness of the natural timber.

The Kante Dining Chair transforms a traditional dining chair into a sculptural object through a continuous sequence of precisely crafted walnut ribs. Flowing uninterrupted from the top of the backrest into the seat, each rib contributes to a rhythmic structure that provides strength while maintaining visual lightness.

The chair's distinctive S-shaped profile offers ergonomic support while creating an elegant silhouette from every angle. Slender solid walnut legs reinforce the sense of lightness, allowing the sculptural seat to remain the visual focus.

Viewed individually or around the dining table, the repetition of the ribs creates an architectural rhythm that becomes increasingly expressive as multiple chairs gather together.

The Kante Bench is the most expressive piece in the collection, translating the same ribbed construction into a sculptural lounge form. A continuous sequence of walnut ribs sweeps upward at each end before narrowing gently through the center, creating a silhouette that appears to have been shaped by flowing movement rather than mechanical construction.

Suspended within the rib structure is a smoked acrylic shelf that introduces a subtle contrast of transparency and depth while remaining visually understated. The shelf appears to float inside the bench, reinforcing the collection's recurring theme of lightness within mass.
